Insufficient Quantities Clause Samples

The Insufficient Quantities clause defines the procedures and obligations when a seller is unable to provide the full amount of goods or services specified in a contract. Typically, this clause outlines how shortages are communicated, whether partial deliveries are permitted, and the buyer’s options, such as accepting reduced quantities or canceling the order. Its core function is to manage expectations and provide a clear process for handling supply shortfalls, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring both parties understand their rights and remedies in such situations.
