Integration with Worker's Compensation. When applicable, Employer-paid sick leave will be integrated with Workers' Compensation payments to the extent necessary to permit an employee to maintain his/her regular straight-time earnings during the period of disability. The foregoing will be applicable to the extent that an employee has accrued but unused sick leave.

When applicableIf an employee is off on workers’ compensation and has accrued sick leave, Employer-paid such employee shall use sick leave will be integrated with Workers' Compensation to supplement workers’ compensation payments to make up the extent necessary to permit an employee to maintain his/her differential between workers’ compensation payments and the nurse’s regular straight-time earnings during the period rate of disability.
