Common use of Interest on the Prime Rate Basis Clause in Contracts

Interest on the Prime Rate Basis. The principal amount of the Loan which at any time and from time to time remains outstanding and in respect of which the Borrower has chosen (subject to the provisions of Section 4.1 with regard to Cdn. $ Libor Advances by Foreign Lenders) or, in accordance with the provisions hereof, is obliged to pay interest on the Prime Rate Basis, shall bear interest, calculated daily, on the daily balance of such Loan, from the date of each Advance up to and including the day preceding the date of repayment thereof in full at the annual rate (calculated based on a 365 or 366 day year, as the case may be) applicable to each of such days which corresponds to the Prime Rate at the close of business on each of such days, plus the Margin.
