The International Association clause defines the relationship and obligations between parties who are members of, or affiliated with, an international association relevant to the agreement. International Association. All Members shall have available, upon request by a full time Union Officer, time sheets and pay stubs and/ or work records of jobs completed (invoices) and pay stubs for the previous (4) four weeks or more.
International Association. All computerized equipment used in the performance of work described in Section 1.1 shall be operated by a journeyman member of Local No. 73.
International Association. No Employer shall subcontract or assign any of the work described herein which is to be performed at a job site to any contractor, sub-contractor or other person or party who fails to agree in writing to comply with the conditions of employment contained herein including, without limitations, those relating to union security, rates of pay and working conditions, hiring and other matters covered hereby for the duration of the project.

Notwithstanding the procedure noted above it is agreed that the hiring process for all geographic regions will be as follows. The Employer may hire the first man for a project from any geographic region. The second man hired for the project will be selected by the Union and shall be from the geographic region where the project is located. The third man for the project will be selected by the Employer from any geographic region. Subsequent hires will be from the geographic region on the basis of one selected by the Employer, then one selected by the Union. When all members of the geographic region are dispatched and members are to be dispatched from other geographic regions the hiring sequence as above will continue to apply.
International Association. It is the intent of all parties of this Agreement to take strong measures to reverse these trends and provide for the long term health of the union employing industry, by making it mandatory that the signatory contractor exhaust all efforts for the purchase of all distribution of air products, specifically, but not limited to, VAV boxes, fan (powered or not), make up of air units, fans, air distribution devises, grills and diffusers, and assign them completely to the sheet metal workers’ employed by him.
International Association. All materials, appurtenances, devices, fixtures, equipment and tools used in the construction of sheet metal work shall be handled, placed in position, and connected by members of the Union. They shall also handle, unload and distribute all aforementioned upon and after its arrival at the job site or premises. They shall also do the unloading for removal of any of the aforementioned. When materials fixtures or equipment are protected by covering during construction, such covering shall be put on and removed and fixtures cleaned by members of the Union.
International Association. In the event existing laws prohibiting the closed shop are repealed, or the Building and Construction Industry is exempt from the provisions thereof, closed shop provisions governing membership and hiring through the Union will automatically supersede other pertinent provisions of this Agreement and become effective immediately.
