Common use of Internet Filtering Clause in Contracts

Internet Filtering. All mobile learning devices will have a content filter applied when connected to the Internet both inside and outside of the district. Any attempt to bypass this will result in the revocation of the student’s mobile learning device as well as disciplinary action. • I will take good care of my mobile learning device. • I will never leave my mobile learning device unattended. • I will never loan out my mobile learning device to other individuals. • I will know where my mobile learning device is at all times. • I will charge my digital device’s battery daily. • I will keep food and beverages away from my mobile learning device since they may cause damage to the device. • I will not disassemble any part of my mobile learning device or attempt any repairs. • I will use my mobile learning device in ways that are appropriate, meet Maine-Endwell Central School Districts expectations, and are educational. • I will not attempt to bypass the district content filter or make other system changes to the mobile learning device. • I will not place decorations (such as stickers, markers, etc.) on my mobile learning device; I will not remove the identification sticker from my mobile learning device or accessories. • I understand that my mobile learning device is subject to inspection at any time without notice and remains the property of the Maine-Endwell Central School District. • I have no expectation of privacy for Internet searches and all actions on the mobile learning device. • I will follow the information outlined in the Mobile Learning Device User Agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Code of Conduct while at school, as well as outside the school day. • I will immediately report if my mobile learning device becomes damaged, lost, or stolen. • I shall be financially responsible for all damage or loss caused by neglect or abuse. • I agree to return the mobile digital device and all original accessories in good working condition.
