Interpretation of Policy; Exceptions. The Director shall administer this Policy in regular consultation with the Vice Chancellors for Research and the President. The President shall have authority to interpret this Policy and, upon recommendation of the Vice President for Economic Development and in consultation with the General Counsel, may grant exceptions to the Policy in appropriate cases.
