Interruption of studies. For compelling personal or vocational reasons, the student has the right to apply for interruption of studies under detailed description of the reason and by providing a proof and the student has to plan for a re-entry at the earliest possible time. In cases of a negative board exam (3rd attempt), the student can request to repeat the academic year. This application can only be handed in once during one’s studies.

Interruption of studies. If the student leaves before 1 October of the same autumn as this contract was entered into force, the student does not have the right to take over the PC, and it must be returned to the school. If the student leaves after 1 October and wants to keep the PC, the remaining rental amounts must be paid. If the student leaves after 1 October and does not want to keep the PC, the student pays the rent for the school year which has begun. The student can use the same PC that has been taken over after Vg2 (Videregående skole trinn 2 = High School level 2) in further courses/apprenticeships within Vestfold and Telemark County municipalities. If the student does not already have a PC, the student can rent a PC from the school for an annual rent and this PC must be returned to the school after completing the course of study. Interruption of studies undergraduate, master's level - students must meet the requirements resulting from the updating of the curricula, including those relevant to changes in the tuition cost, upon resuming studies. The tuition fees to be paid by students enrolled on tuition that require interruption of studies is determined as follows: a. After the start of the academic year, the tuition due for enrolled students attending degree programmes on tuition, regardless of the year of study, is calculated based on the date of submitting the request for interruption of studies, as follows: • If the request for interruption of studies is submitted during the first semester the tuition fee due will be 50%; • If the request for interruption of studies is submitted during the second semester the tuition cost is payable in full; b. Net fee payment at the time of interruption of studies is calculated as the difference between the total fee payable and the total fee paid cumulatively from the beginning of the academic year to which any unpaid fees in previous academic years will be added.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK

  • Completion of Services (a) The Customer must: (i) notify Deswik in writing as soon as the Customer becomes aware of any defects in the Services; or (ii) provide Deswik with an email confirming successful completion of any Services Deswik advises the Customer have been completed. (b) If the Customer does not notify Deswik of any defects under clause 5.4(a)(i) or provide Deswik with an email confirming successful completion of the Services within 14 days of Deswik notifying the Customer that the relevant Services are complete, the Customer is deemed to have accepted the Services. (c) If the Customer notifies Deswik of any defects under clause 5.4(a)(i), Deswik will, as soon as possible investigate and (where applicable) undertake rectification of the defects. Upon completion of any defect rectification the Customer must promptly provide an email notification of the successful completion of the services, unless further defects exist. In this case, the Customer is further required to notify Deswik of such defects.

  • Rectification of Safety Hazard (a) Where, because of the existence of a safety hazard, a site has been stopped for a defined period of time and Employees sent off site by agreement between Site Managers and any combination of Union Official/s, Health and Safety Committee, those people who remain on site to do rectification work will be paid at the rate of double time for all such work. (b) This would not be applicable on normal de watering (see clause 32.6 hereof) or normal housekeeping work or where a section of the site has been declared unsafe and normal rectification occurs whilst the remainder of the site carries on working. It is agreed that any ‘housekeeping’ work performed on Projects is to be paid at single time rate.

  • Recognition of Stewards The Employer recognizes employees who are designated by the Union as stewards to act on behalf of the employees.
