Interview Panels. 11.7.1 Applicants for vacancies will be initially reviewed by OSA management to determine if they meet minimum qualifications and should progress to the panel interview process. This may include an informal meeting with the candidate. Upon request from either OSA or COSATS, a department chair or designated unit member will be included in the initial screening process. 11.7.2 No fewer than two unit members shall serve on any interview panel for any bargaining unit position. Priority shall be given first to department chairs, then to unit members within the department or subpathway for a vacancy being considered, or with particular expertise within the 11.7.3 If any assigned unit member fails to appear for the interview, the interview may proceed without that unit member.
