Intra-Lease Transfers Sample Clauses

The Intra-Lease Transfers clause governs the conditions under which a tenant may transfer their rights or obligations under a lease to another party during the lease term. Typically, this clause outlines whether and how a tenant can assign, sublet, or otherwise transfer their interest in the leased property, often requiring landlord consent or meeting specific criteria. By clearly defining the process and limitations for such transfers, the clause helps prevent unauthorized occupancy and ensures the landlord maintains control over who occupies the premises, thereby protecting both parties' interests.
