Inventions, Discoveries and Patents. 3.1 — All original data and records of the work completed under this Agreement shall remain the property of MAYO. 3.2 — MAYO shall own all of its inventions, discoveries and other developments, whether or not patentable arising out of research carried out under the provisions of this Agreement. ACORDA shall own all of its inventions, discoveries and other developments, whether or not patentable arising out of research carried out under the provisions of this Agreement. Inventions or discoveries made jointly by both MAYO and ACORDA shall be jointly owned by both parties and, if patent applications are filed, patents shall be applied for on behalf of both parties.
