Common use of Isolation of Secondary Systems Clause in Contracts

Isolation of Secondary Systems. A party may: (a) carry out isolation of that party’s Secondary Systems on its own side of a Secondary Systems Asset Boundary, in accordance with its own policies and procedures; and (b) reasonably request the other party to carry out isolation of that other party’s Secondary Systems on its own side of a Secondary Systems Asset Boundary, and the other party must use reasonable endeavours to accommodate the request. Where either or both parties intend to carry out the planned isolation of Secondary Systems on both sides of a Secondary Systems Asset Boundary, this must be done in accordance with the Outage Plan as a Scheduled Outage.
