Issuance of Common Units in Connection with Reset of Incentive Distribution Rights Sample Clauses

This clause governs the process by which common units are issued when incentive distribution rights (IDRs) are reset. Typically, when the terms of IDRs are modified—often to realign incentives between general and limited partners—additional common units may be issued to certain parties, such as the general partner, to reflect the new economic arrangement. The clause outlines the conditions, timing, and recipients of these new units. Its core function is to ensure that all parties are treated fairly and that the economic interests remain balanced following a reset of IDRs, thereby maintaining alignment and transparency among stakeholders.
