Issuing Authority Clause Samples
The Issuing Authority clause defines which entity or organization has the official power to issue, approve, or certify documents, licenses, or permissions referenced in the agreement. In practice, this clause specifies the governmental body, regulatory agency, or authorized party responsible for granting approvals or certifications required under the contract. By clearly identifying the responsible authority, the clause ensures that all parties know where to obtain necessary authorizations, thereby reducing confusion and preventing disputes over the validity of issued documents.
