IUOE Information Packets/ New Employee Orientations Clause Samples

The "IUOE Information Packets/ New Employee Orientations" clause requires the employer to provide new employees with informational materials about the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) and to allow union representatives to participate in new employee orientation sessions. In practice, this means that when a new employee is hired, they receive a packet containing details about union membership, benefits, and contact information, and may attend an orientation where union representatives can present information and answer questions. This clause ensures that new employees are fully informed about their rights and the role of the union from the outset, promoting transparency and supporting informed decision-making regarding union membership.
