January 1st Sample Clauses

The "January 1st" clause establishes a specific date—January 1st—as a key reference point for the commencement, renewal, or calculation of obligations within an agreement. In practice, this clause might set January 1st as the effective date for a contract, the start of a fiscal year, or the deadline for certain deliverables or payments. By clearly defining January 1st as a critical date, the clause ensures all parties have a common understanding of when specific rights or duties begin, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over timing.
