Common use of Joint Monitoring and Review Committee Clause in Contracts

Joint Monitoring and Review Committee. 1. The Parties shall establish a JMRC to facilitate monitoring and review of this Agreement. The JMRC shall also facilitate dialogue and exchanges of information between the Parties. 2. Each Party shall nominate its representatives on the JMRC which shall take its decisions by consensus. 3. The JMRC shall consider any matter relating to effective implementation of this Agreement. In particular, the JMRC shall: (a) meet at least twice a year on dates and at places agreed by the Parties; (b) prepare the agenda for its work and terms of reference for joint action; (c) establish its own rules of procedure; (d) establish a co-chair arrangement for presiding over its meetings; (e) ensure that its work is transparent and that relevant information about its work and decisions is made available to the public; (f) if necessary, establish working groups or other subsidiary bodies for areas requiring specific expertise; (g) publish an annual report in accordance with the criteria set out in Annex XI: Joint Monitoring and Review Committee. 4. The specific functions of the JMRC are described in Annex XI. 5. In the period between the initialling of this Agreement and its coming into force, a joint mechanism for dialogue and monitoring shall be set up to facilitate implementation of this Agreement.

The specific functions of the JMRC JIC are described in [Annex XI]. 5. In the period between the initialling of this Agreement and its coming into force, a joint mechanism for dialogue and monitoring shall be set up to facilitate implementation of this Agreement.
