Common use of JUDGING CRITERIA Clause in Contracts

JUDGING CRITERIA. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges chosen by Sponsor and the Houston Rockets, comprised of representatives from Sponsor and the Houston Rockets (the “Judges”). The Judges will select three (3) finalists (each, a “Finalist”) based on the following criteria: (i) originality of submission (1/4); (ii) creativity of submission (1/4); (iii) Company’s current needs (1/4); and (iv) Company’s current use of technology (1/4). If necessary, ties will be broken based on the Entry with the highest score in category (i) above. If the scores in category (i) above are identical, the Judges will compare scores of the tied Entries on the list of (i) through (iv) above, one at a time beginning with (i), until the tie is broken. The decisions of the Judges are final on all matters and may not be appealed. Companies that conflict with exclusive sponsors of the Houston Rockets, as determined by the Houston Rockets in its sole discretion, are not eligible to enter or win the Prize.

If the creativity scores in category (i) above are identical, the Judges judges will compare scores of the tied Entries on the next category on the list of (i) through (iv) above, one at a time beginning with (i)time, until the tie is broken. Companies Businesses that conflict with exclusive sponsors of the Houston Rockets, as determined by the Houston Rockets in its sole discretion, are not eligible to enter or win the Prize.
