Common use of KDADS’ Termination Clause in Contracts

KDADS’ Termination. Notwithstanding any provision herein, KDADS, with or without advance written notice, including the opportunity to cure, may terminate this Contract due to fraud or to protect public funds. By way of example and not of limitation, examples may include, but are not limited to: embezzlement, Medicaid fraud, fraudulent billing statements or any other action or in-action relating or pertaining to the fiscal integrity of this Contract or the IDD Medicaid waiver program in Kansas.
