Landlord’s Option as to Subject Space Sample Clauses
The "Landlord’s Option as to Subject Space" clause grants the landlord the right to make decisions regarding the specific area or unit within a property that will be leased to the tenant. In practice, this means the landlord can designate, substitute, or reconfigure the leased premises, often within certain parameters or subject to notice requirements. This clause is commonly used in multi-tenant buildings or developments where flexibility is needed to accommodate changing tenant needs or building plans. Its core function is to provide the landlord with flexibility in managing the property and optimizing space allocation, while also addressing potential conflicts over which space is ultimately leased.
