Late or Partial Payments Clause Samples

The Late or Partial Payments clause defines the consequences and procedures when a payment is not made on time or is only partially fulfilled. Typically, this clause outlines the imposition of interest charges, late fees, or other penalties for overdue amounts, and may specify how partial payments are applied to outstanding balances. Its core function is to incentivize timely and complete payments, protect the payee from financial loss due to delays, and provide a clear framework for handling payment issues.
