Lateral Movement. An employee moving to a position at the same grade level will have a new salary placement calculated. The employee will be placed at that salary level or at the employee's current salary, whichever is greater. 41.2.2.1 An employee whose job description has been rewritten to reflect new/added responsibilities and the classification process resulted in additional placement points but the position did not result in a grade change will have a new salary placement calculated. The employee will be placed at the salary level or $500 above the employee's current salary, whichever is greater.
