Common use of Law/Severability Clause in Contracts

Law/Severability. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with and governed for all purposes by the laws of the State of California and each party expressly consents to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California. In case any one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement shall, for any reason, be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability shall not affect any other provisions of this Agreement, but this Agreement shall be construed as if such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions were not contained herein.
