Common use of Lay Off Application Clause in Contracts

Lay Off Application. An employee on lay off shall retain and continue to accrue his/her seniority. He/she has the right to recall within classification in seniority order for a period of one (1) year after the date of lay off. (See ARTICLE V, Section 4 above.)

Lay Off Application. An employee on lay off shall retain seniority and continue to accrue his/her seniority. He/she has the right to recall within classification in seniority order for a period of one eighteen (118) year months after the date of lay off. (See ARTICLE V, Section 4 above.)
