Layoff and Recall List. (a) Layoff and recall will be based on seniority, that is, the last hired will be the first laid off and the last laid off will be the first recalled provided they have the ability and training to perform the work that is available, and that licensing standards can be maintained. (b) Any regular employee who has completed less than three years employment will receive two weeks' notice or two weeks' pay in lieu of notice. After the completion of a period of employment of three consecutive years, one additional weeks' notice will be added for each subsequent completed year to a maximum of eight weeks' notice or pay in lieu of notice. (c) Any regular employee who has chosen layoff as per Article 4.12
