Common use of Layoff by Classification Clause in Contracts

Layoff by Classification. Employees laid-off shall be laid-off according to seniority 14 within their classification. In the event that an employee is unable to bump under this provision, the 15 employee may elect to bump as provided under Section 11.6 or accept the layoff.
