LDP Forums. 4.7.1. The Council is committed to working in partnership with the community as a whole throughout the plan making process. For this reason, it is proposed to establish LDP Forums to assist in and inform the development plan process. The Forums will play an important role in ensuring that the LDP reflects the development needs and aspirations of Rhondda Cynon Taf. 4.7.2. It is anticipated that the role of the Forums will be two-fold. Firstly, they will serve as a mechanism for discussion, which will allow open dialogue to take place between stakeholders on key issues of policy. Secondly, they will act as a control group for the various stakeholders in the development plan process. These Forums will be identified on a focus basis, incorporating further Council Members, Council groups, Specific and General Consultation bodies.
