Leak test. Type CNG-4 designs shall be leak tested using the following procedure (or an acceptable alternative); (a) cylinders shall be thoroughly dried and pressurized to working pressure with dry air or nitrogen, and containing a detectable gas such as helium; (b) any leakage measured at any point that exceeds 0.004 standard cm3/h shall be cause for rejection.
