Leave Procedures. 1. Where an Administrator is absent for a reason other than those stated in sections above, and sections (a) through (c) of ARTICLE 7, or, except in the case of illness, is absent for a period in excess of the limits established in those sections, there shall be deducted for each day of absence not provided for in those sections and for each day of absence in excess of the prescribed limits, an amount equal to the Administrator’s daily rate of pay. 2. The Superintendent may, in exceptional circumstances, grant a leave of absence with pay for other reasons or may extend the time limits for a period greater than the time limits as set forth in this Article.
