Leave Without Pay in Relation to Sick Leave Entitlements. 12.4.1 Full-time or part-time employees are able to take leave without pay, providing that such leave is mutually agreed between the employer and the employee, and is in accordance with the employer’s policy on leave without pay. 12.4.2 An employee who is granted leave without pay and who remains in the service of the employer, will have such leave included in determining sick leave entitlement.
