Leaving the Bargaining Unit. A. When an employee leaves the faculty bargaining unit to accept a position with the College for which the Federation is not the bargaining agent, seniority shall cease to accrue. B. If such employee later returns to the bargaining unit with no break in College service, all previous seniority shall be reinstated and seniority shall again accrue. C. If there is a break in service at the College seniority will be lost. D. The Human Resources office will determine whether a break in service has occurred consistent with Article 6 and PEBB standards.
