Leaving the Bargaining Unit. Any employee currently in the bargaining unit, who initiates a transfer to a position with the University outside the bargaining unit, shall not be allowed to maintain seniority within the unit. However, an employee who initiates such a transfer and who then returns to the bargaining unit within ninety (90) workdays will then be credited with all of the seniority he or she had accrued as of the date of transfer from the bargaining
