Common use of Lending Agent Clause in Contracts

Lending Agent. Pursuant to the Agreement, the Lending Agent is authorized to invest Cash Collateral of the Fund in a collective investment vehicle that satisfies the requirements of such Section 6. None of these collective investment vehicles are guaranteed or insured by the Lending Agent or its affiliates or by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any government agency. Set forth below is information about the MELLON GSL DBT II COLLATERAL FUND Series of the MELLON GSL REINVESTMENT TRUST, a collective investment vehicle to be utilized by the Lending Agent pursuant to the Agreement for the investment of Cash Collateral. Delaware Business Trust. A Delaware business trust, known as the Mellon GSL Reinvestment Trust (the "Trust"), has been established for the purpose of investment and reinvestment of Cash Collateral on behalf of clients in the securities lending programs of the Lending Agent and its affiliates, particularly clients who are not eligible to participate in collective trusts or common trust funds maintained by the Lending Agent or its affiliates.
