Common use of Length of Performance Clause in Contracts

Length of Performance. (1) A performance, including any pre or post artist activity, shall run no longer than 2 hours inclusive of intermission. A production created and/or scheduled to run longer than 2 hours may be presented only by special arrangement with Equity. (2) In the event a performance unexpectedly exceeds 2 hours, the Producer shall pay each Actor no less than the prevailing overtime rate for each such occurrence. (See Rules 46(H) and (J)(4).)
