Length of Probation. a. A probationary period of sixty (60) school days shall be established. Days may be added if deemed necessary to complete a program for improvement and evaluate the staff member’s performance, as long as the probationary period is concluded before May 15 of the same school year. b. The probationary period may be extended into the following school year if the staff member has a continuing contract and has a SER as of May 15 of a level 2 or less. c. During the probationary period, the evaluator shall meet with the staff member at least twice monthly to complete a written evaluation of the progress made by the staff member.
