Length of Services. The maximum term including extensions of the engineering services contract may not exceed 10 years for contracts using non-federal funds or for project specific using federal funds. If federal funds are used for an IDIQ the maximum term length is five years and all work orders must be issued during the term of the contract. The total time from execution of an IDIQ contract to the completion of all work orders issued cannot exceed 10 years. However, the length of the contract should be determined based on the scope of work. The LPA shall comply with any established Illinois statutory or local ordinance that further limits the length of a contract.
