Letters of Recommendation Clause Samples

The Letters of Recommendation clause outlines the conditions under which one party may request or provide written endorsements or references for another party, typically in a professional or academic context. This clause may specify who is authorized to issue such letters, the permissible content, and any confidentiality or approval requirements before a letter is shared. Its core practical function is to ensure that the process of requesting and issuing recommendations is clear, consistent, and protects the interests and reputations of all parties involved.
Letters of Recommendation. You must write a reasonable number of recommendation letters each year in response to student requests.

Teachers requesting a substitute shall submit a list of students for whom letters will be written to the High School Principal at the time of the request. No additional compensation or substitute shall be allowed for any letters in excess of twenty.
Letters of Recommendation. A. Letters of recommendation shall not include the number of days the teacher was absent during the period of employment unless deemed a significant reflection of the teacher's performance.
