Level Descriptors. The Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario publishes a set of level descriptors that describe six levels of engineering work. These level descriptors are well accepted throughout Canada by engineers and employers of engineers. AECL has taken these level descriptors, adapted them for more specific applicability to AECL and created a parallel set for scientific jobs.
