Common use of Liability Release Clause in Contracts

Liability Release. i. It is understood and agreed that the Town will make an effort with the available Town personnel to do inspections to strive for completion of the work in accordance with the approved plans, but the Owner and its successors and assigns hereby release the Town, its servants, agents and contractors, from any responsibility, or liability arising directly, or indirectly out of any of the Town’s obligations in relation to this Agreement. ii. The Owner for itself and all successors in title hereby releases the Town, its servants, agents and contractors from any and all liability in respect of the proper maintenance and operation of the services and works and matters referred to and provided for in this Agreement.
