Common use of LICENCES AND CERTIFICATES Clause in Contracts

LICENCES AND CERTIFICATES. It is a condition of employment that an employee is and remains in possession of a current drivers’ licence, electrical licence (if applicable) and other relevant and required licences or certificates acceptable to the Company for the class of equipment operated or the nature of work to be performed. These certificates and licences are to be sighted and recorded by the Company and provided on request. If an employee has his/her licence or qualifications revoked or suspended and the licence or qualifications is integral to his employment, the employer may have no alternative but to terminate employment, if alternate duties (and remuneration) cannot be sourced (or agreed).
