Common use of Limitations of Operation Clause in Contracts

Limitations of Operation. When mowing within ten (10) feet of traveled roadway, the contractor shall operate all equipment in the direction of the flow of traffic. Equipment left by the contractor on the right-of-way or County property after designated work hours will be placed outside the clear and recovery area and will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. If equipment is left by the contractor on the right-of-way, it will be marked by the contractor with a barricade etc. and with approved steady burning amber lights. All service and supply operations shall be conducted outside the clear and recovery area. No supply vehicles shall enter the median for any purpose. No service vehicle shall enter the median unless necessary to repair or remove inoperable equipment.
