Common use of Limitations on Hours of Service for Paid Absences Clause in Contracts

Limitations on Hours of Service for Paid Absences. Notwithstanding any provision of this Plan, Hours of Service otherwise required to be credited pursuant to Section 1.32.2 (relating to paid absences) or Section 1.32.4 (relating to an award or agreement for back pay), to the extent the award or agreement described therein is made with respect to a period described in Section 1.32.2, shall be subject to the following limitations and rules: (a) 501 Hour Limitation. No more than five hundred one (501) of such Hours of Service are required to be credited on account of any single continuous period during which an employee performs no duties (whether or not such period occurs in a single Year);
