Limited Use Software Sample Clauses

The Limited Use Software clause restricts how licensed software can be used by the licensee, typically confining its application to specific purposes, users, or environments. In practice, this clause may specify that the software can only be used internally by the licensee’s employees, prohibit redistribution, or limit use to a certain number of devices or locations. Its core function is to protect the licensor’s intellectual property by preventing unauthorized or unintended uses, thereby reducing the risk of misuse or over-deployment.
Limited Use Software. Portions of the full-use version of the Software may be withheld or unusable and use of the Software may require accessing portions of the Software remotely through the Internet. Full use of the Software may be restricted by technological protections.

LICENSEE MAY HAVE OTHER STATUTORY RIGHTS. HOWEVER, TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DURATION OF STATUTORILY REQUIRED WARRANTIES, IF ANY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.

  • Limited Use Each Party agrees it shall not, without the prior written consent of the other Party or as permitted by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, do any of the following: (i) disclose any Confidential Information to any third party; (ii) permit any third party access to such Confidential Information; or (iii) use Confidential Information for any purpose other than collecting debt on the Referred Account s referred to Agency by Client.

  • Licensed Software Computer program(s) provided by Contractor in connection with the Deliverables, subject to Section 14 of this Contract.

  • Limited Software Warranty MyECheck represents, warrants, and covenants that: MyECheck warrants to the original end user (“Customer”), and not to subsequent end users, of the Extreme Networks software product (“Software”) that for ninety (90) days from the date of installation of the Software from MyECheck, the Software shall substantially conform with the specification for the Software at the (“Documentation”). MyECheck does not warrant (i) that the Software is error free, (ii) that Customer will be able to operate the Software without problems or interruptions or (iii) that the Software will be free of vulnerability to intrusion or attack.   • Antivirus software All workstations, laptops and other systems that process and/or store PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY must have installed and actively use comprehensive anti-virus software solution with automatic updates scheduled at least daily.

  • Proprietary Software Depending upon the products and services You elect to access through Electronic Access, You may be provided software owned by BNY Mellon or licensed to BNY Mellon by a BNY Mellon Supplier (“Proprietary Software”). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install the Proprietary Software on Your authorized computer system (including mobile devices registered with BNY Mellon) and to use the Proprietary Software solely for Your own internal purposes in connection with Electronic Access and solely for the purposes for which it is provided to You. You and Your Users may make copies of the Proprietary Software for backup purposes only, provided all copyright and other proprietary information included in the original copy of the Proprietary Software are reproduced in or on such backup copies. You shall not reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or attempt to determine the source code for, any Proprietary Software. Any attempt to circumvent or penetrate security of Electronic Access is strictly prohibited.
