Failure to complete all four (4) certifications at the end of one (1) year period shall be grounds for removal from Special Operations Assignment. Employees assigned to the Aviation Battalion, except ARFF Captains, who are ARFF qualified, in accordance with the Letter of Understanding defining the certification process, shall receive assignment pay.   • Notification of Assignment Any assignment that is not undertaken in accordance with the provisions set forth above shall be null and void ab initio.
