Local Contractors. Redeveloper shall make commercially reasonable efforts to allocate the work associated with the construction of the Initial Improvements in a manner which provides local contractors with an opportunity to participate in such work. Contracts for the Initial Improvements shall be let on the basis of price, quality of service and reputation. Further, preferences shall be give to local contractors and minority owned businesses when such contractors demonstrate equal capability and bondability relative to other contractors for the scope of work to be performed.
Local Contractors. To the extent commercially reasonable, Company shall use contractors and subcontractors principally located within the Louisville Metropolitan Statistical Area to complete the Project.

Local Contractors. Tenant shall endeavor to hire and use local contractors for building and operating the Stadium, including construction and food and beverage services. All employees and contractors shall be paid no less than $15 per hour or the prevailing minimum wage if higher than $15 per hour for their services.
Local Contractors. The Developer agrees that, to the extent allowed by applicable law, when considering bids for contracts for the construction of the Project, the Developer shall give preferential consideration to Local Contractors when said bid was submitted in a timely, good and workmanlike manner. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Developer shall not be obligated to accept the bid of any Local Contractor whose bid is higher than that of any other contractor or which contains unacceptable conditions, nor shall the Developer be obligated to accept the bid of any Local Contractor that the Developer, in its sole and absolute discretion, does not believe is capable of performing the scope of the work. For these purposes, “Local Contractors” means contractors that have a usual place of business in San Juan County, and/or are owned or operated by individuals who (prior to bid submission to Developer) have principal residences in San Juan County.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers.   • Agreements with Subcontractors Business Associate shall enter into a Business Associate Agreement with any Subcontractor to whom it provides PHI received from Covered Entity or created or received by Business Associate on behalf of Covered Entity in which the Subcontractor agrees to the same restrictions and conditions that apply through this Agreement to Business Associate with respect to such PHI. Business Associate must enter into this Business Associate Agreement before any use by or disclosure of PHI to such agent. The written agreement must identify Covered Entity as a direct and intended third party beneficiary with the right to enforce any breach of the agreement concerning the use or disclosure of PHI. Business Associate shall provide a copy of the Business Associate Agreement it enters into with a subcontractor to Covered Entity upon request. Business associate may not make any disclosure of PHI to any Subcontractor without prior written consent of Covered Entity.

  • Subcontractors The Contractor will not subcontract any work under the Contract without prior written consent of the Department. The Contractor is fully responsible for satisfactory completion of all its subcontracted work. The Department supports diversity in its procurements and contracts, and requests that the Contractor offer subcontracting opportunities to certified woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses.
