Common use of Locality Allowances Clause in Contracts

Locality Allowances. (a) Entitlement: A teacher shall be paid: (i) the full rate of the locality allowance if the teacher satisfies the Management Committee that he or she has a dependent spouse, dependent de facto spouse or dependent child; or (ii) one-half of the full rate of locality allowance if the teacher does not have a dependent spouse, dependent de facto spouse or dependent child.
