Common use of Location Data Clause in Contracts

Location Data. SOTI, its partners and licensees may provide certain services through the Licensee Device that relies upon location information. To provide and improve these services, where available, and on the basis that Devices are GPS capable, SOTI, its partners and licensees may transmit, collect, maintain, process and use Licensee location data, including the real-time geographic location of Licensee’s Device, and location search queries. The location data and queries collected by SOTI are collected in a form that does not personally identify the Licensee and may be used by SOTI, its partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. By using any location-based services on Licensee’s Device, the Licensee agrees and consents to SOTI's, its partners' and licensees' transmission, collection, maintenance, processing and use of Licensee’s location data and queries to provide and improve such products and services. Licensee may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling the location-based features in Licensee’s Device. Not using these location features will not impact the non-location-based functionality of Licensee’s Device. When using third party applications or services on the Licensee Devices that use or provide location data, Licensee is subject to and should review such third party's terms and privacy policy on use of location data by such third party applications or services.
