Location, design, and construction. A. Boating facilities, including associated and accessory uses, shall be located, designed and constructed to avoid or, if that is not possible, to minimize and mitigate the impacts to ecological functions, critical areas resources and processes, and public access. B. Boating facility construction shall be restricted to the minimum size necessary to meet the needs of the proposed public access use. C. Boat launches shall be designed and constructed using methods and technologies that have been recognized and approved by state and federal resource agencies as the best currently available, with consideration of site-specific conditions. D. Structures shall be made of materials that: 1. Have been approved by applicable state agencies. 2. Have a generally non-reflective exterior finish to reduce glare.
