Common use of Logging Operations Clause in Contracts

Logging Operations. (a) All employees in logging operations who work on New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, British Columbia Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day and Christmas Day will be paid rate and one-half for all hours so worked except as provided for in Article V - Hours of Work, Section 1(b) or Section (2)(b)B. (b) An hourly rated employee in a logging operation who qualifies for any of the holidays named in Section 1(a) herein, in accordance with the conditions set out in Section 3, shall be paid for the said holiday at his regular job rate of pay for his regular work schedule.
