LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION HIRING. When a long-term contract employee is needed to replace a bargaining unit position, the hiring process as outlined in Article 16, with the exception of Article 16.08, will be followed. Upon completion of the permanent employee’s leave, the long-term contract employee shall not have the right to grieve termination or non-renewal.
