The Longevity Incentive Pay clause establishes additional compensation for employees based on their length of service with an organization. Longevity Incentive Pay. Effective July 1, 2021, employees shall receive Longevity Incentive Pay based upon their years of service with the Issaquah Police Department. Longevity Incentive Pay. The University will adjust a Local 6070 bargaining unit members base rate of pay for the following years of staff service for the University, with a cap of one retroactive step if the milestone year was reached prior to this agreement for current staff. Longevity Incentive Pay. 29.2.4.1. Employees who have ten (10) years of uninterrupted continuous County service shall be eligible for an increase in compensation of ten (10) salary ranges (approximately 5%), effective the first pay period following completion of the ten years.
29.2.4.2. Effective July 8, 2007, employees who have twenty (20) years of uninterrupted continuous County service shall be eligible for an increase in compensation of an additional ten (10) salary ranges (approximately 5%), said increase to be effective the first pay period following completion of the twenty years.
29.2.4.3. Longevity calculation shall be counted from the initial date of hire into any regular or grant position as long as there has been no separation from County service. Time spent in layoff status, on medical leave or any unpaid leave greater than 30 calendar days shall not count as time worked for longevity calculations. Should an employee be separated from County employment due to layoff, and then return to regular County employment while in layoff status their calculation for longevity purposes shall be based on their initial date of hire into a regular or grant position prior to the date of layoff.

Time spent in layoff status (prior to the effective date of this MOU), on medical leave or any unpaid leave greater than 30 calendar days shall not count as time worked for longevity calculations. Subsequent to the effective date of this MOU, should an employee be separated from Court employment due to layoff, and then return to Court employment while in layoff status their calculation for longevity purposes shall be based on their initial date of hire into a position prior to the date of layoff minus any time spent on such layoff, medical leave or any unpaid leave greater than 30 calendar days.
Longevity Incentive Pay. The City will provide a one-time lump sum Longevity Incentive Pay (LIP) to all SBEA-MSU on their milestone anniversary (based on permanent hire date) with the City as listed below. LIP shall be paid on the pay date which includes the SBEA-MSU member's anniversary date within the pay period. LIP is not retroactive. EDUCATIONAL REIMBURSEMENT
30.1. Both AFSCME Local 1684 and the County of Humboldt encourage and support the employee to seek education and training which increase their job skills and develop their careers. The County will benefit from any increase in employee skill and competency. Therefore, the County will provide reimbursement for courses and certification exams which are related to the employee’s present position or promotion within County service. Continuing education units are not covered by this policy.
30.2. Reimbursement which will be provided to full-time employees for tuition, fees and materials costs directly related to the approved course shall be limited to $300.00 per course or $100.00 per semester or quarter unit, whichever amount is greater, not to exceed $600.00 per individual employee per fiscal year.

A.11.1 Employees Eligible for Master Employee Pay as of January 1, 2021 shall be grandfathered into the 5-year longevity premium, regardless of length of service as Police Officers or Corporals with the Issaquah Police Department. These employees shall then be eligible for an increase in longevity premium once they have served the required number of years to receive an increase in rate (e.g. 10 years as a Police Officer or Corporal with the Issaquah Police Department to receive an increase to the 10-year longevity rate).
